This is for a One Of A Kind Antique Early 1900’s African Folk Art Tribal Spirit Sculpture. This was hand carved with primitive tools by a member of a tribe in Africa. This is a very heavy dense wood and fairly large sculpture which measures 15” tall by 5”. This was acquired in Africa in the 1960’s in Zimbabwe and this was purchased from the owner that acquired this originally in Africa. There is a superficial crack on the bottom see in photos but it doesn’t affect the statue. Besides that this is in great shape. Such a beautiful piece and to think about the day that this was made close to or over 100 years ago seeing through the eyes of the creator.
