Rare SIERRA DESIGNS
This is a black down jacket from Sierra Designs.
This popular black color is hard to come by, and the size is a rare US/S, JP/M!
Both the outer and inner linings are free of stains and discoloration, and are in a condition ready to wear immediately upon arrival.
Uses 60/40 cloth!
SIERRA DESIGNS used this fabric for their mountain parka in 1968, which became a sensation. It's a signature fabric of SIERRA DESIGNS, woven with cotton for the weft and nylon for the warp, in a 60:40 ratio respectively.
The 60/40 fabric, woven with a combination of natural and chemical fibers, has the soft feel of cotton, allows moisture to pass through, and is durable and water-repellent like nylon, combining the characteristics of each.
