set of three vintage MCM Homer Laughlin Dogwood pattern plates are in good vintage condition, please see photos. The plates show signs of use throughout, most notably, two small divots on the backs of two of the plates. These seem to be just surface and are not affecting the strength or integrity of the plates. Google told me the following:
Most likely from the Debutante or Jubilee line, produced circa the 1950s.
Manufacturer: Homer Laughlin China Company.
Pattern: "Dogwood", featuring white dogwood blossoms with green leaves and brown branches.
Shape/Line: The pattern was used on the "Jubilee" line blanks, which carried over into the "Debutante" shape.
Material: Ceramic or ironstone.
Era: Mid-century, specifically around the 1950s.
I could see many uses for them, including weddings, parties, display, or actual eating off from them. So beautiful!
